Over the course of this week our site will be undergoing its final changes so there may be some disruption. We apologise for any inconvenience.
However, on the plus side, we will also be adding some pages and introducing some new sponsors.
In New Zealand at the moment we are in the middle of summer, as I write this it has been raining for about 12 hours, and in Northland and Auckland they have two long weekends in a row. Next weekend is their anniversary weekend, so Monday is a holiday and then the following weekend the whole country will celebrate Waitangi Day. This commemorates the signing of the Treaty between the Maori leaders and the Crown of England. It was 1840 when it was signed and this date is often said to be the date from which New Zealand became a nation.
One hundred and sixty six years later New Zealand can celebrate becoming the base, and starting point, for our global adventure.
