A Day in the Life of Madison in Pre-primary
Every morning I wake up around five o'clock in the morning and slowly drift back to sleep. A couple of hours later, my Mum comes into my room and wakes me up. I soon get ready for school. I get dressed and go to the kitchen and have my apricot jam on toast.
I go to St. Joseph's School and I am six years old. I also have an older brother, named Zac and he is in year four. Mum usually walks to school with Zac and I. But if the weather is not nice or we are running a bit late, my mum drives us to school instead.
When I get to school, we say good morning to my teacher, Mrs. Cook and we start the day with a prayer. Then Mrs Cook puts us into groups to learn about 'Letter Land'. We also do lots of painting and other really fun things. When school finishes, my mum normally comes and picks me up in the car.
I usually go home and have some afternoon tea. I love to go and play with my friends after school. I don't play any sports, so I don't have to go to any training, but I love my cat and I spend time in the afternoons playing with her instead. My cat's name is Cassy. Mum cooks dinner and I usually go to bed at around 7.30pm. Then my Mum wakes me up in the morning and my day starts all over again!
